Hello and welcome! My name is Rasheda, I’m a Self-Regulation Specialist certified in Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My goal is to help you use yoga to get out of your head and into your body by teaching you science based self-regulation techniques. Drawing from neuroscience, developmental psychology and interpersonal neurobiology, I will work with you and help you learn what your triggers are, turn off the fight or flight response and help balance your parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system.
Yoga is useful for anyone suffering from trauma, addiction, PTSD, anxiety, excessive fatigue, irritability, depression, physical health problems, negative thoughts and emotions, sleep disorders, managing anger and more.
